The McKenzie Towne Council (MTC) proactively obtained the landscaping contract from the City of Calgary.

MTC augments this contract with a portion of your fees in order to cut the grass, empty garbage cans and maintain shrub beds every week instead of every second week.

Did you know that … there are approximately 110 acres of parks in our Towne and 150 shrub beds? In addition to that, MTC empties 66 garbage cans twice weekly in the summer (more often in the busier parks) and weekly in the winter.

As part of the enhanced maintenance program, and for your walking enjoyment, the pathways inside all of the parks and around the ponds are cleared of snow and ice within 48 hours of a snowfall.
